DRDO Scholarship 2022: Get up to Rs 2 Lakhs for pussuing UG & PG COURSES

The Ministry of Defence’s Research and Development wing developed the DRDO scholarship scheme for female undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applications for the same have begun from 10 February 2022 and the application window will close on 31 March 2022.

DRDO Scholarship 2022: Benefits

There are 30 scholarships available; 20 for undergraduates & 10 for postgraduates. Undergraduate students would earn up to Rs 1,20,000 per year in scholarships, while postgraduate students will receive Rs 1,86,000 per year.

DRDO Scholarship 2022: Eligibility

Students in the first year of a BE/ME, BTech/M Tech, or BSc/MSc programme in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, avionics, aircraft engineering, space engineering, or rocketry are eligible to apply.

• Must be a Indian citizens
• A minimum of 60% in an UG and a good GATE score are required for PG candidates to apply.
• UGapplicants with a valid JEE main score must have been accepted in first year.
